The NWHPAF is pleased to announce their annual conference for 2012 - Exploring Effective Relationships in Physical Activity and Health

The conference theme is sharing good practice and stimulating debate around relationships across all levels of the industry from commissioner to provider and delivery officers to clients. There will also be examples of relationships in the sector which are less well established, or examples of a twist on what the idea of a "relationship" can mean.

All content throughout the day will focus on creating more effective relationships to achieve objectives. Presentations will appeal to the broad range of attendees looking to attend the conference including practitioners/delivery officers, managers and commissioners from across the health, sport and physical activity sectors.

Keynote speakers include:

  • Dr Ann Hoskins, Interim Regional Director of Public Health/Director of Children, Young People & Maternity Services, NHS NW
  • Dominic Harrison, Joint Director of Public Health, Engagement and Partnership for Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council and PCT
  • Jane Ashworth, Chief Executive, StreetGames and Karen Keohane, National Manager for The Active Women Consortium
